
Topping-out ceremony for Karen Blixens Plads
The construction of the urban plaza, Karen Blixens Plads, in connection with the University of Copenhagen is progressing and has reached an important milestone: the topping-out ceremony, celebrating the craftsmen's work and effort at the construction site.
Karen Blixens Plads is set to be completed beginning of 2019.

Lecture at the School of Architecture in Nantes
Tomorrow, Project Director Caroline Nagel will give a lecture at the School of Architecture in Nantes (École Nationale Supéreiure d'Architecture de Nantes), France. Caroline will be speaking about "Our Urban Living Room" and explain how this theme has affected and shaped Cobe's work.

Nørreport Station exhibited in Frankfurt
Using exemplary projects from all over the world, including Nørreport Station, the exhibition 'Ride a bike! Reclaim the city' at DAM – Deutsches Architekturmuseum in Frankfurt, demonstrates how bicycle freindly infrastructure makes cities more livable – for everyone.
The exhibition presents eight cities and regions, including Copenhagen, New York, Karlsruhe, Oslo, Portland, Barcelona, the Ruhr district and Groningen – all showing how the path towards a more sustainable and social city can also lead via plans for one that is bicycle-friendly.

The Silo wins CTBUH Best Tall Building in Europe Award 2018
The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) has awarded The Silo Best Tall Building in Europe, at the 2018 Tall + Urban Innovation Conference in Chicago.
Along with the award, The Silo received the following words from CTBUH: "The Silo embodies the importance of restoring original structures in cities, as a matter of environmental sustainability, as well as an ethical and visionary approach to cultural heritage."

The Silo exhibited in Oslo
The Silo is part of the exhibition 'From X to Home', displayed at ROM for Kunst og Arkitektur in Oslo, Norway. The exhibition presents a selection of residential Nordic projects, including The Silo, exemplifying how architecture and transformation of physical surroundings can have an impact on human lives and contribute to shape future ways of living.

Cobe at the Venice Biennale 2018
Cobe is part of the official Danish contribution to the 16th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. Under the caption “Freespace”, created by curators Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara, this year's biennale focuses on the primary focus of architecture: the space in itself and its potential for generosity. Kick-starting the biennale, Founder and Creative Director Dan Stubbergaard will participate in two debates at the Danish Pavilion at Giardini di Castello on May 24 2018:

The Silo wins the City of Copenhagen's Architecture Award
The Silo has been awarded Best Transformation Project in 2018 by the City of Copenhagen.
The City annually awards architecture and urban environments of outstanding beauty, with the purpose of honouring and supporting the development of Copenhagen. The award show took place at Copenhagen’s City Hall, presented by Mayor of Culture and Leisure, Niko Grünfeld.

Cobe's Managing Director named one of Denmark's 100 biggest talents
The Danish newspaper Berlingske Business each year appoints the 100 most talented people in the Danish business community. Nina Mathiesen, Cobe's Managing Director, is one of the top 100 new Danish talents in 2018.
"Nina has managed to safeguard Cobe's culture while at the same time professionalizing the company. She is analytical in her approach, which is a huge force in a creative business. She informs, delegates and engages and has a good gut feeling about the direction we should go in and where we should focus – even in difficult situations," says Cobe's Founder and Creative Director Dan Stubbergaard.
Nina has been Managing Director of Cobe since 2014, but has been apart of the company since 2008. In these past four years, Cobe has grown into an international company with some 120 employees and with projects in both Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, UK and North America.

Lecture in Stockholm
Today, Project Director Eik Bjerregaard is keynote speaker at the Arwidsson Talks 2018 Conference at Moderna Museet in Stockholm, exploring Cobe's projects in Copenhagen.
