In the motivational statement from the Jury it is emphasized that “Dan Stubbergaard’s talent originates from an understading of both the individual and the relationship between people. This is precisely why he is one of the gifted persons who effortlessly can transfer his talent to all scales and work with great empathy in both urban planning, building design and urban spaces. Cobe wins Paper Island in Copenhagen
Cobe wins the competition for the future development of Paper Island, also known as Christiansholm, in Copenhagen's inner harbor. With a prime location right across from the Opera House and the Royal Danish Playhouse, Paper Island is the crown jewel of the inner harbour. Together with Inside Outside, Transsolar and Via Trafik we envision a series of new halls for informal, public functions, building on the island's current status as a vibrant urban destination in central Copenhagen.

New landmark in Copenhagen's Nordhavn
Cobe wins the competition to design a 25,000 m² office building for PFA Ejendomme in Copenhagen's Nordhavn district. Together with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects and Tredje Natur, we envision a new landmark for the neigbourhood and a new meeting place for all residents of Copenhagen. Like a lighthouse marking the first neighbourhood to be completed in the area, the Tip of Redmolen stands out an office building and public space that will serve as a visible entrance to the Copenhagen Harbour.
The Silo before and after
In one year The Silo will be completed, and the former industrial grain silo in Copenhagen's Nordhavnen district will be converted into private apartments and public functions including exhibition space and dining facilities at the top and bottom floor.

The exhibition presents a unique insight into our Copenhagen projects not only presented at DAC but also at our office and around the city. The exhibition coincides with the release of our first book published by Arvinius + Orfeus Publishing celebrating our learnings from Copenhagen the past ten years.

Both in 2012, 2013, 2014 and now in 2015, Cobe has been appointed a Gazelle by the Danish business newspaper Børsen. The nomination of Gazelles is based on financial statements, and the award is appointed to companies showing significant growth each year within the past four years. Since 1995, Børsen has awarded approximately 16.000 Danish companies a Gazelle, and only every fifth has accomplished to feature the list more than once.
