Roskilde Festival Folk High School celebrates groundbreaking

Roskilde Festival Folk High School is at the next stage of development as the project begins its construction today. The 3,000 m² Roskilde Festival Folk High School is the first newly-established and newly-built folk high school of its kind in Denmark in 45 years, and also includes additional 2,600 m² student housing.

Roskilde Festival Folk High School and student housing will be completed in 2018 and is part of the masterplan for ROCKmagneten transforming the existing cement factories on site into a district for rock music, creativity and youth culture. Cobe won the competition for ROCKmagneten in 2009 together with MVRDV.
